SECONDARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Delivered in partnership with Right Arm Uganda – a youth‑led organisation reaching thousands of students across Uganda.
Climate‑Mind Schools Debate Program
Motions that matter – linking mental health and climate action
Inter‑school debates where students argue real‑world topics (e.g., “Mental health must be part of every climate plan”)
Pre‑debate workshops on research, public speaking, and critical thinking
Training for peer counsellors to lead mental health first‑aid circles
Tree planting and formation of “Green Resilience Clubs”
📊 Pilot impact: 800+ students at St Henry’s College, Gangu; 80% improved understanding of the climate‑mental health nexus.

Schools Democracy Project
A full electoral simulation to build informed voters and ethical leaders
Professional candidate photo sessions and standardised campaign posters
Photo ballots (reduce invalid voting) and secret ballot exercises
Training for student election monitors
Post‑election debriefs and certificates for all participants
📊 Why it matters: Uganda’s national elections suffer from high invalid votes. We start the solution in secondary schools.

Vijana Leaders’ Workshop
A national prefectural leadership conference – “Nurturing the Next Breed of Servant Leaders”
One‑day event at Makerere University for 500 student leaders
Keynotes by former MPs, civil society leaders, and business executives
Panels on mental health, environmental stewardship, and ethical leadership
Networking and a “Servant Leader’s Pledge”
📅 Next edition: 25th July 2026 (open to prefects from partner schools).
